The installation of new signalling systems are costly and enhanced collaboration in necessary, particularly when operating across borders and countries. To justify the investment and maximise ROI, infrastructure managers, operators and suppliers must work together to identify cost-efficient methods of installing and integrating new signalling projects and systems to deliver long-term interoperability at minimal cost and utilise the technology available to improve operational efficiency		 Workshop Session:
To reduce costs, ensure interoperability and optimise the benefits of ERTMS systems, extensive and standardised testing and certification is required. Effective testing and maintenance strategies are key and laboratory tests to ensure optimal performance must also be used and deployed more extensively. This workshop looks at testing and certification processes and provides solutions to ensure TSI requirements are met.
